There are quite a lot of exciting events coming up in Maastricht Lacrosse. First The Gents are playing the AMSTERDAM LIONS tomorrow which is a big game. The Lamas definately need a win to make it to the playoffs so come out and support us!

The Ladies wont play until our upcoming Home Gameady on May 2nd. Further Information about the Home Gameday will be up soon, but already mark the date in your calendar!

Hello everyone an welcome to the new season. A lot of things already happened so here is a quick overview of what took place the las few weeks:

Gamedays: Guys and Ladies played some great Games and got a good start in the season. Scores can be checked out on www.nllax.nl

Alumni Day: We also had an Alumni Day on the fieds in Malberg. Old and recent Lamas players, both Ladies and Gents joined in for a day of Lax and lots of other fun stuff. It was a sucessful Aluni Day. Some Pics are up so check these out.

Lacrosse Party: Also, we had another legendary Lacrosse Party at D’Alla to raise some money for the Team. It turned out to be 500 Euros, so thanks to everyone who helped to make it an sucessful evening.

New year, new season!

Welcome everyone to an new year full of exciting LACROSSE action! After the Christmas break and a lot of cancelled practices due to weather conditions both teams are thrilled to get in shape and ready for the spring season. The first game for the Guys will be against Amsterdam, conciderably the best team in Dutch Lacrosse, so be ready for some great action there. The Ladies already had an early game which took place on feb. 14th in Utrecht, facing Groningen. Results will be up in a few days.

I hope yall are ready for an amazing season of Lacrosse and stix up!

Congratulations to the Lamas! Last weekend the Lamas made history by winning the Eric Vogels Cup! After winning their group with three wins, no losses, 27 goals scored and only 3 goals scored against earlier in the Fall Ball season the team was motivated and ready to kick some major ass! In the semifinals they had to face the Amsterdam Lions, considered the best team of the Netherlands. The score after regulation was 6-6 so the game had to go into overtime. Two minutes into overtime midfielder Julian Lübke scored the game deciding goal for the Lamas. It was a great game by both teams! The second semifinal was Rotterdam against Groningen. Groningen advanced to the final by beating the Jags 2-1.
After all other games where played it was time for the final! Shortly before the final it started to rain heavily but both teams where ready to take on the challange. Maastricht came out strong and beat the Gladiators 9-1. Allover, it was a great day for Maastricht Lacrosse and we want to thank all the Players for their dedication to the team and this great sport!

A legendary coach recently told his team: You were all born average, everyone of you knows that you are not average anymore, you put that seed in your heart, this seed of a dream and you made it grow with your attitude and passion, history will be made on this day and you are gonna be the guys that gonna make the history, so what you gonna do about it, you already won a trophy, thats a given, but we dont mediocracy, we want another goal!!!! ;-)
So after these motivating words the guys team just has to be ready to kick ass on sunday in Den Hague where they are trying to bring home the Trophy to Maastricht! So good luck and destroy!
